09 May 5 Tips that’ll help you stand out
Here are five really great tips for the young actors and models going to one of the conventions or showcases.
Tip #1: Look your best, but keep your clothes simple. So that means no loud patterns on your dress or logos on your shirt.
Tip #2: Be polite! That means no playing around on your phone while others are speaking or performing.
Tip #3: Be sure and listen! After you perform, the casting director will likely give you an adjustment. Even if your performance was spot on, they’ll probably give you one anyway to see how flexible you are.
Tip #4: Don’t forget your headshots and model cards!
Tip #5: Have fun! Sure it’s easier said than done, but auditions aren’t nearly as scary as it seems.
