Does it seem like everyone of your actor friends are getting an audition and you aren’t getting squat? Well, here are five reasons you may not be getting called in for a commercial audition.
1. Your headshots don’t look like you.
2. No improv or acting training.
Improve is especially important for commercial auditions.
3. You don’t live in Los Angeles or New York.
Unless you have some serious credits on your resume, no one is going to fly you to an audition.
4. You don’t have an agent or a manager.
Sure, you may be able to get a low budget movie or student film on your own but if you want to get in on the good stuff, you need representation!
