The first step in your career as an actor is your headshot and if your headshot suck, then it could be your last step too.
To get some great headshots it’s important to find a good quality photographer but that doesn’t mean you have to spend a lot of money! You just have to make sure the photographer has good equipment and knows how to use it.
Here are some other good tips to get a good set of pictures:
1. Hire a photographer with a high quality digital camera.
2. Shoot outdoors in natural light. If it’s indoors, make sure the photographer has high quality studio lighting.
3. Wear clothes with no logos or busy patterns.
4. Choose colors that emphasize your eyes or works well with your skin tone.
5. Get plenty of sleep and drink lots of water.
With these simple tips, you’ll end up with some high quality headshots. Most importantly, high quality headshots will translate into high quality prints!
