Getting new headshots can be a pretty stressful time for an actor. With photographers charging between $300-$600 for a session on top of that, you have printing costs and online fees. It can be an expensive process!
Photographer Sophia Field has an excellent guide for people getting ready for their photo shoot. We’ve also come up with a brief but convenient list that’ll help you get the most out of your headshot photo shoot:
- Meet with your photographer and get an idea of who they are so you can feel comfortable with them during the shoot.
- Leave the retouching to the professionals. Let the photographer retouch the images or we can do that for you!
- Get plenty of rest the night before.
- Don’t print your headshots at Kinko’s! Print with a professional printer that specializes in printing headshots.
- Keep it simple. Don’t wear anything distracting loud clothes with big logos and designs.
With these tips, you can ensure that you’re ready to look your best, feel relaxed during the shoot and look your best.
